Established in 1999, Margaux has a reputation for providing top notch food and service combined with a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. We are a casual restaurant with service and etiquette you will be comfortable enjoying while out with your family or for a special occasion.
Margaux hosts various events and special holiday offerings throughout the year. One of our most popular events is our Wine Dinner, which we host periodically with various Northwest Regional vineyard partners. Executive Chef – Chris Zarkades
Following his dream of becoming a Chef, Chris attended South Seattle Community College's nationally renowned and accredited culinary program. Chris graduated with honors in the spring of 1994 and immediately found a place in the kitchen at Liaison, previously located at Warwick Seattle prior to Margaux.
Due to his hard work and talents displayed on the line as a Sous Chef, Chris was promoted to the position of Executive Chef in 1998 before transferring overseas to further hone his culinary skills at our sister resort, The Naviti Resort, in Fiji.
In 2000, Chris returned to the helm of Margaux where he spent the next seven years preparing inspired Northwest Cuisines. In 2007, Chris returned to the South Pacific where he took on the position of Head Executive Chef for the award winning 5 star Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa.
Chris returned home to the Emerald City in 2011 and was welcomed back once again to apply his passion for creating and preparing Northwest Cuisine at Margaux. His emphasis in Seattle is on our region's superlative seafood, locally farmed and foraged produce, and soul satisfying meat, game and poultry preparations.
Chris is locally involved with many of Seattle's annual events including Festival of the Fountains, Taste Washington, and FareStart's Guest Chef Spectacular.
In conjunction with our Restaurant Manager, Chris is working diligently to continually redefine Margaux as the go-to restaurant for a wide variety of local and out of town patrons alike.

Restaurant Manager - Raina Clausell
After spending much of her 25 year hospitality career working for Restaurants Unlimited, primarily in California, Raina is excited to return to Seattle, Washington as Restaurant Manager for Margaux.
Raina is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Margaux Restaurant and Lounge. All main dining room, lounge and Warwick Seattle in-room dining food & beverage operations are under her direction. She is also responsible for staff training, staff retention, and wine program operations.
In conjunction with our Executive Chef, Raina’s emphasis in downtown Seattle is to elevate dining to an art form, where service, atmosphere, food, and wine intermingle to form a feast for all the senses. By doing so, Raina hopes to introduce a wide variety of patrons to the Margaux experience while ensuring Margaux becomes their go-to location for casual three meal dining as well as special occasions.
